AI squat coach for iPhone
Squat deeper.
Lift smarter.
Fix one thing at a time.
Film a set with your iPhone. Squatwise AI tracks every joint, scores your depth, knees and torso, and shows you exactly what to fix on your next set.
How it works
From set to fix in three steps
Film your set
Prop your iPhone up and record live, or pick a squat video you already have. Hips, knees and feet in frame is all it needs.
Get your score
Every rep is counted and checked for depth, knee tracking, torso position and consistency, rolled into one score out of 100.
Fix one thing
See your biggest issue on the exact reps it happened, how to correct it, and the weight and reps to aim for next.
Features
A coach watching every rep
Everything you need to squat with better form, in an app that fits between sets.
A form score for every set
One number out of 100, built from what matters in a squat: how deep you went, whether your knees tracked over your toes, whether your chest stayed up, and how even your reps were. Tempo, speed through the set and lockout count too.
Analyse any video
Upload a set from your photo library, filmed today or months ago, and get the same full breakdown.
Rep-by-rep replay
Step through your video with the tracked skeleton and the depth line on top. Shallow reps are flagged, so you see exactly where you stopped short.
3D coach
A moving 3D model shows the wrong move next to the right one, for depth, knee tracking and torso position.
What to lift next
A personal plan for your next set: go heavier, add reps, stay or go lighter, based on how this set went, your recent sets, your goals and your level.
Track your progress
Every set is saved with its video and score. See your days, weeks and months at a glance and watch your form improve.

FAQ
Questions, answered
How do I film my squats?
Put your iPhone on a stand, a bench or the floor a few steps away, so your hips, knees and feet stay in frame the whole set. Stand still for about a second before your first rep, so the app can measure you standing.
Which camera angle is best?
Any of them works: front, side, back or 45°. The side view gives the most precise depth reading; the front and back views are best for seeing your knees. The app detects the angle and judges depth with it in mind.
How does it judge depth?
It measures how far your hips travel below the top of your knees, relative to the length of your thigh, on every rep. A rep counts as deep enough when your hip crease gets clearly below your knees.
Do my videos get uploaded anywhere?
No. All analysis happens on your iPhone using Apple's on-device body tracking, and your sets are saved on your phone.
Can I analyse videos I filmed before?
Yes. Tap “Analyze a video” and pick any squat set from your photo library.
Does it work for bodyweight squats?
Yes. Choose “Bodyweight only” when asked for the weight. The analysis is the same, and once your bodyweight sets are clean, the next-set plan tells you when to pick up the bar.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone running iOS 18 or later.
Is this medical advice?
No. Squatwise AI gives feedback on squat technique to help you train better. It isn't a substitute for a coach, physiotherapist or doctor. Stop if something hurts.
